Very much recommended to fans of interactive fiction.. HeroFall was a great end to the trilogy! It was well written and interesting all the way through. I could have gotten a lot more glory in this game but I make stupid mistakes. STILL this game is great and well worth the money and I absolutely will play it again.. Wow...just wow. Whereas the other 2 games took place over vast gaps of time, this explosive blockbuster takes place over no more than 3-4 days at the most. I literally powered through it because I felt like I was inside of a summer movie, full of mystery, explosions, great character development, explosions, unexpected reunions, tons of explosions, and an all out war between several factions (which included both powered and unpowered types risking their lives for their beliefs). Not all is what it seems in this tale, nor are the characters as clean cut but with good reason. Enemies become friends, friends become enemies, and others become frenemies. This series could easily be a trilogy of motion pictures, or at least 3 solid seasons of any primetime slot. No character is weak, nor due they simply serve as plot devices or story fodder. Why this dude isn't writing for comics, tv, and movies is a surprise to me. Dude's got mad talent. The game is cheap so grab it now or wait for a sweet steam sale and get it for near free. The whole series is worth over 10 bucks and yet, you can grab it for $7.99?! Grab it NOOOOOOOOOOW!EDIT: On a side note, can't wait for The Hero Project Season 2. It will be sluggin' biblical!. I accidentally became emotionally invested into this trilogy. God damn it Prodigal why must you break my heart with what you pulled.. Gaming seal of Approval: I stayed up until 4am to finish my main run. For me it had a much more satisfying ending then poor Mass Effect 3. Can't wait to think up new PCs to find other alternate paths.. an amazing finale to an amazing trilogy. I can't recommend this game. I waited to see if the author would change some parts in HeroFall, particularly regarding the Prodigal route before expressing an opinion, but since there won't be any change according to the guide posted on Facebook, I definitely can't recommend this trilogy.The first opus may have a good balance between imposed choices and player choices (mainly thanks to some updates), things turn differently in the second opus. HeroProject makes the character of the player more spectator than actor of her own choices. Even if there's some improvement in terms of choices in HeroFall, the game leans more toward linearity, all of which can cause more frustration than fun for the player.In addition to all this, clearly, some characters in the story receive preferential treatment compared to others, for example, Black Magic. Those who have played the game will understand what I mean.If you want a linear game then this trilogy is for you. If you want a game with choices, I would advise you to look other games from Choice of games.. So this game is a text adventure by Choice of Games, which has many games on its website and mobile devices. They create their own games and host other games that people write using their software. If you care more about plot than cutscenes and running around then you will like this game, if you don't then perhaps you should go play something else. I love visual novels, and this is very similar except no pictures.This is the third and final game of the original trilogy (they are supposed to release a fourth game with a different protagonist). You can import your saves from the second game or start new. There are a lot of choices and endings in this game, or at least it seemed like there were more compared to the first one. The major villian from the first game shows up as a companion this time, and now you are on the run from the law. Your parents, who were put in jail for killing a supervillain, are about to be executed, and you need to find a way to save them without getting arrested. There are several romances, and you can be male\/female and gay\/straight. All the romances from the firs two games show up again, and new ones are also avaliable.
